Curated for every itinerary, these are the can't-miss experiences you'll be telling your friends about long after you return home.

Wander the lively streets of San Sebastián, where world-famous pintxos bars tempt with bold flavors – a tradition born in the early 20th century to entice locals in for a small bite and drink.

Trace a stretch of the Camino del Norte – one of the most breathtaking routes of the legendary Camino de Santiago, walked by pilgrims since the 9th century along cliffs that meet the ocean and the sky.

Embark on a guided hike through Rioja's famed vineyards to soak in the natural beauty and discover the art of winemaking that defines this region. This special experience brings you into the heart and soul of one of the world's most celebrated wine destinations.

Savor the regional flair of authentic cuisine, crafted under the inspiration of Michelin-starred Chef Francis Paniego at the Hotel Marqués de Riscal. Experience the luxury of local ingredients, thoughtfully transformed into unforgettable flavors.
Be greeted by authenticity at every turn, breathe in the freshly prepared dishes found in the many pintxos bars, and take in the warm sun from the golden beaches – let the seaside charm of this region sweep you away. With Michelin-starred restaurants around every corner, beaches that captivate even the locals, and a legacy as a royal retreat, this is the Basque Coast at its most enchanting.
Enjoy life in the Spanish countryside, where vineyards stretch on forever and every glass of wine tells a story. As you breathe in the quiet luxury of the outdoors, bike through rolling hills, and explore old-world villages, you'll feel a deep sense of calm throughout your stay.

All hotel accommodations, airport and train station transfers, excursions, select meals, sightseeing, applicable fuel surcharges, and gratuities to Roam Directors, local guides and drivers are included.
International roundtrip airfare, travel protection, and any activities and meals you choose to pursue during free time that are not outlined in the itinerary are not included in the price of the trip.
Free time is a big part of what makes Roam by Tauck feel personal – space to reset, explore independently, or follow whatever catches your eye. To help you start imagining how you'll spend it – whether that's reserving a table at a nearby restaurant, enjoying your hotel's amenities, or simply asking your Roam Director for suggestions – we've outlined the longer stretches of open time built into this journey below. Beyond these dedicated windows, you're always free to personalize your experience by sitting out activities that don't match your mood and enjoying more time your way.
Location indicates where your free time begins. In some cases, that means you'll be back at your hotel, with the freedom to relax or head out on your own.

The activity level of this tour is 4. Most days require — or offer the option to engage in — longer or more strenuous walking (often 4+ miles or 8,000+ steps), extended standing, or varied terrain such as hills, sand, or cobblestones. Guests should be comfortable crouching to climb into and out of more rugged vehicles or small planes frequently. Some days may also include active excursions like biking, kayaking, horseback riding, or water sports. While less demanding alternatives may be available, the core experience typically involves sustained physical effort and is best suited to guests comfortable with a consistently active pace.

Non-U.S. citizens should check with an embassy or consulate of Spain to determine what travel documentation are required for entry.
