Single Supplement Waived Entirely on Category 1 Riverboat Cabins, and Reduced Across Dozens of Land and River Journeys
WILTON, CT (January 20, 2026) – Tauck is once again extending a warm welcome to solo travelers, announcing special savings for 2026 that significantly reduce—and in many cases eliminate entirely—the single supplement across a wide range of river cruises and land itineraries around the world.
On Europe's rivers, Tauck will again waive the single supplement on all Category 1 riverboat cabins, eliminating it entirely on every departure of each Tauck river cruise itinerary—more than 250 departures in total in 2026. These solo-friendly sailings will include a new itinerary, Bordeaux, Paris & The Seine, which sails aboard the newly launched ms Serene. In addition, Tauck will reduce the single supplement by $1,000 on certain other cabin categories (typically Categories 4 and 5) on select European river cruise departures in 2026.
Solo travelers exploring the world on Tauck land itineraries will also enjoy meaningful savings in 2026, with single supplements reduced by up to $600 on 105 departures of 37 itineraries spanning North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. In North America, Tauck will reduce the single supplement by up to $300 on 34 departures of 12 itineraries, including journeys to iconic national parks, cultural capitals, and scenic regions across the U.S. and Canada, such as the newly introduced A Week in… Nova Scotia.
On European land itineraries, solo travelers will enjoy savings of up to $400 on 52 departures of 18 itineraries, with destinations ranging from Italy and France to Spain, Great Britain, Scandinavia and Central Europe. Elsewhere in the world, the single supplement will be reduced by $600 on seven departures of seven Tauck global journeys in Asia, Africa and Latin America — the highest savings offered across Tauck's land portfolio, reflecting the company's commitment to making these bucket-list destinations more accessible to solo travelers.
"For many solo travelers, the true value of traveling with Tauck is the sense of ease, confidence and connection they feel from the very beginning," said Tauck CEO Jennifer Tombaugh. "Our guests love knowing that every detail is thoughtfully taken care of — from hotel and restaurant reservations to sightseeing and transportation— and they consistently tell us how supported and welcomed they feel, whether it's through the expertise of our Tauck Directors or the camaraderie that naturally develops within the group. It allows them to relax, explore and fully immerse themselves in the journey."
